"Shorehouse has to be one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. It made my Easter weekend fantastic!

The rooms are of such high standard with attention to detail that you would expect to see in top hotels.

Modern furnishings, great bathrooms with fab products, fresh home cooked breakfasts and everywhere so clean.

I am often away on business and either stay at small hotels or chains but I have to say that Shorehouse has surpassed the standards of most of these.

Zoe and Stephen are truly great hosts which made my trip to Scarborough/North Yorkshire relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Shorehouse to anyone and its great location to the sea shores of the North of England."

"If you're visiting Scarborough then this is the place to stay. The feel of the place is lovely.

If you've ever dreamt of buying a run-down old seaside townhouse and spending years renovating it into a fresh, airy, coastal escape then save yourself the trouble and book a weekend at Shorehouse instead - they've done all the hard work so you don't have to!

On the other hand, if you're looking for lace doilies, a trouser press and frilly duvet covers then please do not book here - there are one hundred other B&B's that will suit you perfectly."
